Outside of the theatre, you can usually find Lydia dancing in her kitchen, curled up with a blanket and a memoir, or baking cakes for her friends (her favorite quarantine hobby). Lydia firmly believes in creating work that questions norms, affects change, and inspires laughter. She wants to be a part of that change whether onstage, backstage, or teaching the artists of tomorrow.

 

Her favorite way to work towards this goal is by producing her monthly cabaret, Open Pages, and by helping young artists grow. She offers private coachings, group masterclasses, and works with the Spotlight Program at Hennepin Theatre Trust, helping students of acting, singing, and stage management alike learn to grow and continue to play.

Lydia is currently pursuing her Masters in Music in Musical Theatre Vocal Pedagogy at Carthage College in Wisconsin.
