A little about me
Lydia is a singer/actress/stage manager from the Twin Cities in Minnesota. Most recently you could see her rocking out in her cabaret series, Open Pages at LUSH, onstage as Wendla in Spring Awakening with Chameleon Theatre Circle, and in Bridges of Madison County with Artistry.
In addition to her stage work, Lydia produces a monthly cabaret series called Open Pages at Lush. Open Pages is a place for all kinds of singers to have more agency in the type of music they sing. We encourage singers to think outside of the box and sing whatever truly brings them joy. Lydia also works as a freelance music arranger - focusing primarily on cleaning up audition cuts and arranging musical theatre medleys. Examples of this work can be found here.
When she's not onstage, Lydia likes dancing in the kitchen, crying in art museums, and eating breakfast foods all day long. In an effort to help foster young artists, Lydia frequently works with the Spotlight Program at Hennepin Theatre Trust, helping students in performance and stage management alike learn to grow and continue to play. Lydia firmly believes in creating work that questions norms, affects change, and inspires laughter. She wants to be a part of that change whether on or backstage.
Lydia is currently working out of Minneapolis, MN.
